More About AWMA

We strongly believe in the importance of skilled trades and support CTE programs offered at area high schools. The skills obtained and mastered give students a solid base for employment after high school. AWMA strives to connect with area manufacturers and educators to assist students from our communities by launching successful and rewarding careers in these sectors.

Our alliance is a non-profit organization consisting of 14 local manufacturers and construction companies, EDC Directors from Adams and Wells Counties, educators from the six school districts in Adams and Wells Counties, and not to mention job development organizations residing in the Northeast Indiana region. We aim to make students aware of exciting local employment opportunities in the trades, especially if they possess a specific skill.

Our organization’s mission is to provide the best possible resources for students and their parents while keeping our communities up-to-date with the latest news and recent activities. Whether it’s local plant tours for students to give them an idea of work environments and job types or having manufacturers display their products and services at local high schools. AWMA strives to connect future employees with available employment prospects.
